Today I saw this caption “I didn’t choose the thug life – The thug life said I choose you” and on another image and thought this picture of my Ash costume from a Nintendo / Video Game themed dress up night would suit it well. I am so ASHamed of myself for making this and posting it online. I originally posted this photo saying something about how I didn’t know which Pikachu to take, I ended up taking none of them because I didn’t want to carry it around all night / lose it.
Here’s a pic of me with my friends dressed as Sora, Tingle and Gary Oak (far right, can’t see too well), by coincidence we all went to the Nintendo Wii-U launch together dressed in similar costumes except I wore the Zubat Dark Cave / Mount Moon costume to that and the guy dressed as Sora borrowed my Ash Costume and the guy dressed as Gary Oak came as Pit from Kid Icarus.
It actually turned out that I didn’t need a Pikachu doll anyway as there were a few people dressed as them there already.
Update: Since I posted this on Facebook some of my friends shared it to a bunch of other sites. Got a lot of views on Imgur, Reddit, DamnLOL and dozens of Facebook fan pages.
The original Reddit / Imgur post seems to be gone now (not really sure how those sites work) but the original post that someone from my Facebook posted it under was called “saw this on facebook made by friend” which wasn’t really the best title ever. It appears to have had 159,511 views according to what comes up in Google search (but the link doesn’t open). I thought I’d try and make the scariest possible costume for Halloween this year. Keep in mind that basically no one takes a Max Repel or Escape Rope with them to a Halloween party. So I bought 8 plush Zubat Pokemon dolls and sadly had to cut off all their tags and pinned them to my hooded jacket. The costume was far heavier than I had anticipated but people liked it and said it was very scary.
I’d had this costume idea for months, I almost wore it to video game themed nightclub event but was worried drunk people might try and steal my Zubat dolls so I went as Ash instead. I might wear the Zubat costume to PAX Australia next year, but will not enter any cosplay competitions. Cosplay isn’t really my thing.
I took this photo in 2010 I think. It was one of the first Pokemon toys I took a photo of using my old iPhone 3GS. It got a lot of likes on Facebook so I took a bunch more. I’ll post more old ones soon.
I took this photo of an old American Burger King Shellder Pokemon toy at Williamstown beach a while back. It squirts water. I hope I got all the dirty sea water out of it…

I got the new Star Wars Xbox 360 the day it came out for much cheaper than I had expected. Pretty happy with that. I took this photo yesterday using some old Star Wars figure to loosely recreate the famous “these aren’t the droids you’re looking for” scene. Too bad I don’t have Luke’s landspeeder.
I bought these two new Beavis and Butthead vinyl action figures recently. They were made in 2012 by Funko. I’ve been wanting to get some Beavis and Butthead figures for a while but only came across vintage ones that I didn’t want to open or bobble heads. These are at least a little bit posable.
The bottom floor of the Nintendo World Store in New York is mostly Pokemon related items. Lots of Pokemon cards, plush toys etc. I bought a fair few cards here, they were much cheaper than elsewhere. I probably didn’t take enough photos down here compared to what I took up stairs. I will post pictures of upstairs later.
Here is a slightly blurry picture from above the Pokemon Center at the Nintendo World Store in New York. The shelves in the middle are all Pokemon Cards. Behind the counter they have the limited edition Pokemon Black and White DSi console bundles for about $180 USD each, they come with the corresponding game and a case. The back wall has DVDS and to the right you can see DS and Wii games ect. The wall on the left is mostly toys and shirts.
I originally posted this picture of Yoshi and some yoshi eggs in an egg carton on Facebook a year or so ago. My parents were not thrilled with me drawing on the eggs, I used whiteboard marker but because the eggs were porous it didn’t totally wipe off when I cleaned them

The sculpt of this doll suggests that this wasn’t originally meant to be this colour. I don’t think anyone painted it, but I think Caucasian versions would also exist.
I’m assuming this ugly Barbie clone is meant to look like someone famous. Also the glued-on-leg look is hideous.

The mouth and thighs on this one worries me.
This belongs to my friend’s dog. Its eye fell off so their grandmother replaced it with some other eye making it far creepier than if it has simply has only one eye.
Sheriff Woody from Toy Story looks far better with a plastic head
